Kathmandu: NepMelo Studio has released the first episode of its new show, NepMelo Singers on Mic Season 1. The premiere features a heartfelt performance by Sujata Pandey from Butwal. Sujata sang the soulful song Pahilo Maya (First Love), written and composed by Tej Prasad Pandey. Her performance, combined with the debut of the show, has generated excitement among viewers. Sujata was accompanied by renowned guitarist Sanjib Baraily and flutist Ratna BK. The song, mixed and mastered by Prakash Mishra, was recorded at Acoustic Nepal Studio. After nearly six months of planning and preparation, NepMelo has brought Singers on Mic to audiences.

This is not a reality show but a "real show" with a unique concept, where singers perform their own songs live on stage. Unlike traditional reality shows, this program has no competition or prizes. The focus is purely on showcasing artists and their original music.
